Asana Integration Setup

Connect Asana so Kritmatta agents can use your projects, tasks, and team data inside automated workflows.

OAuth 2.05 minutes to connect

Requirements

  • An active Kritmatta account at app.kritmatta.com
  • An Asana account with access to the workspace you want to connect
  • Access to the Connections section in your Kritmatta workspace settings

Setup steps

1

Log in to Kritmatta

Go to app.kritmatta.com/login and sign in to your workspace.

2

Open Connections

In the left sidebar, navigate to Connections. Find Asana in the list and click Connect.

3

Authorise with Asana

You will be redirected to Asana's authorisation page. Log in if prompted, then click Allow to grant Kritmatta access to your Asana workspace.

4

Select your workspace in Kritmatta

After authorisation, Kritmatta will ask which Asana workspace to connect. Select the workspace your projects live in and confirm.

5

Confirm the connection

Return to Connections and verify that Asana shows as Connected.

6

Validate with an agent

Create or open an agent with Asana-enabled workflows. Run a task that lists projects or tasks and confirm results appear in the agent output.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Asana does not appear as Connected after I finish the flow.

Return to Connections, click Disconnect if visible, then reconnect. Ensure you clicked Allow (not Deny) on the Asana authorisation screen.

I can only see some projects, not all of them.

Kritmatta can only access projects that your Asana user account can view. Check your Asana project permissions and share any missing projects with your account.

The authorisation step fails or redirects to an error page.

Retry the connect flow from Connections. If the issue persists, contact hello@kritmatta.com with a screenshot of the error.

Can Kritmatta create or update tasks in Asana?

The current integration scope is read-only from Asana. Write capabilities — such as creating tasks or updating due dates from an agent — are on the roadmap. Reach out to hello@kritmatta.com to register your interest.

How do I switch to a different Asana workspace?

Go to Connections, disconnect Asana, then reconnect and choose the new workspace during the authorisation flow.

How do I disconnect Asana?

Go to Connections, select Asana, and click Disconnect. You can reconnect at any time. Reconnection is only needed if you manually revoke access in Asana or your organisation removes the app — Kritmatta handles token refresh automatically in the background.
